Welcome to Freshwater Bay Golf Club on the Isle of Wight

Freshwater Bay golf course, on the Isle of Wight, is one of the most spectacular courses in the UK. Set on the downlands overlooking the English Channel, this seaside links style golf course is 5,725 yards long, par 69 which provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities.

Visitors are most welcome and we provide very reasonable rates. Freshwater Bay is an ideal venue for society and corporate golf days and we believe that our combination of expertise and friendly hospitality will add to the enjoyment of your game, creating a memorable day for your members. We can also help with travel/ ferry information and accommodation if you are planning a longer visit.

We are a private club with full bar and catering facilities. Our clubhouse is friendly and relaxed and members are always available to provide advice on weather and playing conditions.

This is a beautiful part of the Isle of Wight and an excellent base for a holiday. Landmarks include Freshwater Bay, The Needles, Tennyson Down, Fort Victoria, Alum Bay Cliffs and Yarmouth Castle but there are other places like Newtown Creek - an unspoilt haven for wildlife, Hannover Point with it's dinosaur footprints on the rocks, the ancient standing stones at Mottistone and Hulverstone and beaches ranging from safe and sandy to wild and rocky! There are also half a dozen golf courses on the Isle of Wight - all within a 20 mile radius!
