HIGH SCORING WEEK FOR FRESHWATER MEMBERS

Kind weather and a Freshwater course in excellent condition produced some fine scoring over the few days.

Best round of the week goes to Myles Taylor in the Midweek Stableford winning Division one with 43 points off 6 handicap but more impressively carding a gross 66, second was Keith Wright on 40 with third place going to Derek Worsley on 39 points on count back from Graham Wells and Colin Jones.

Division Two was won by Ken Johnson with 40 points followed by Rob Jackson on 39 with John Wisker taking third on 37 beating Ray Cooke on the back nine.

Friday saw this month’s Veterans Stableford, John Veal took the honours with 39 points from Ray Cooke on count back. Rays lead on the Ogle tankards has stretched to 13 points fro John Mew in 2^nd place with one round left to play. Pete Cooper is making a late charge with in 5 points of Mew after carding 37 points beating Richard Couse and John Wisker on the back nine.

Division One of the Saturday Stableford went to Adam Keen with 42 points with Keith Wright one point behind in second. Third place went to Chris pink on 38, with yet again a bevy of players beaten on the back nine, no prizes for Myles Taylor, John Crosbie, Derek Wright or Richard Frost all with 38 points.

Division Two saw the highest total of the day with Chris Tansley taking the money with 43 points ahead of Kasey Tuckey on 41 and Richard Couse on 39.
