Ron Long Memorial Trophy

This week’s domestic competitions at Freshwater Bay were limited to the Veterans Ron Long Memorial Trophy due to the hosting of the Island Championships at the weekend.

Good scoring over the Yellow Tee Course saw the CSS drop to 66 and still the winner Gerry Bolton managed to reduce his handicap to 14 thanks to his 40 points. Second place was taken by Ivan Butt (19) on 38 with Steve Goodman (21) scoring 37 points to take third place from Frank Gregory (21) on count back.
