Third place went to John Burke and Paul Brown on 47 whist mention in dispatches must be made of Fred Smith who amassed 28 points on the back nine all on his own helped out by a hole in one on the 17th for a mere 5 points.

Sunday 14th June saw the Wightwash Trophy, another better ball stableford like the Centenary the previous day, flying into the hands of Dave Wright and Richard Leppard, scoring 45 points to beat Simon Smith and Dick Downes on the back nine, Chris West and John Veal came a creditable third with 43 points.
