Freshwater Bay Golf Club is known on the Isle of Wight as the 'friendly club' and has a varied and vibrant membership. There are regular club and inter-club competitions and our members enjoy an excellent relationship with other golf clubs both on the Island and on the mainland. Members can play other Isle of Wight Clubs at reduced rates and there are reciprocal arrangements with mainland golf clubs where our members can play a round free of charge when pre-arranged with the club secretary.
The 1st Tee is normally reserved for members as follows:
Playing members may introduce a guest to play at a reduced fee. However this concession is limited to one guest at a time and always providing that the same guest is not introduced on more than six occasions in any one calendar year.
A reciprocal arrangement exists with all other Island Golf Clubs. This allows members to play at half rate Green Fee (except at weekends and Bank Holidays), apart from Shanklin & Sandown, which is available at 75% of published Green Fee rate.
Members can play a round free of charge at the following mainland clubs (when pre-arranged with the club secretary)
Also a reduced rate is available for Hayling Island Golf Club.
If you would like to join Freshwater Bay Golf Club. We will be most happy to arrange a complimentary round of golf so you can view the course. We can even provide a member to act as a "guide" if required. Please let the secretary know suitable dates and times.
